barnaclínic+ introduces Omnipod 5, a new tubeless closed-loop system
barnaclínic+ introduces Omnipod 5 ®, a new automated insulin delivery system for people with type 1 diabetes that offers a key difference compared with other insulin pumps: it does not require tubing or an external catheter. The system uses a small Pod that adheres directly to the skin and automatically delivers insulin based on glucose readings obtained from a continuous glucose monitoring sensor.
With the introduction of Omnipod 5, barnaclínic+ expands the range of options available within its closed-loop systems or artificial pancreas systems for type 1 diabetes, which include different automated insulin delivery technologies. The aim is to select the most appropriate option for each person, taking into account both their clinical needs and their preferences and lifestyle.

Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at barnaclínic+ is entering a new phase with a broader range of healthcare services and new facilities specifically dedicated to rehabilitation, physiotherapy and functional recovery. Led by Dr Conxita Closa, a specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Head of the Rehabilitation Department at Hospital Clínic Barcelona, the new model combines clinical excellence, personalised care, advanced technology and state-of-the-art facilities to address problems affecting mobility, function and independence.
Services are provided at Epsilon Physio Sports Medical Center, located in central Barcelona, with barnaclínic+ as its medical partner. Its 1,200 m² facilities include spaces for individualised treatments and a large functional recovery area, allowing patients to receive continuous care from medical assessment and diagnosis through to physiotherapy, therapeutic exercise and the different stages of their recovery.

barnaclínic+ strengthens its specialised Cardiology services with the consolidation of a dedicated Heart Failure Unit, bringing together and enhancing the expertise, specialists and resources available for the diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of patients with heart failure. The Unit is staffed by cardiologists from Hospital Clínic de Barcelona with specific expertise in this condition, providing coordinated care throughout every stage of the disease, from diagnosis and early treatment optimisation to the management of advanced heart failure.

2025 Annual Report: barnaclínic+ breaks its revenue record and consolidates its strategic growth
barnaclínic+ has presented its 2025 Annual Report, a year marked by sustained activity growth, the consolidation of new strategic projects, and the strengthening of its positioning as a benchmark in high-complexity private healthcare in Barcelona. For the first time, the organization exceeded €20 million in healthcare revenue, consolidating a trend of sustained growth and reinforcing strategic areas such as robotic surgery, minimally invasive surgery, sports medicine, specialized dentistry, assisted reproduction, and international patient care.
In addition to the digital version, this year the report also includes an audiovisual version, in which the heads of the different barnaclínic+ departments present the organization’s main results, challenges, and future strategic lines.

barnaclínic+ discusses acoustic neuroma and facial paralysis in the new episode of “Salud (t) Plus”
Following the previous episodes of “Health (t) Plus”, the barnaclínic+ podcast that brings real health experiences from patients and professionals, this new episode focuses on acoustic neuroma, a benign tumor that can affect hearing, balance and, in some cases, cause facial paralysis with a significant physical and emotional impact.
Through the testimony of Yolanda, a patient who underwent surgery for an acoustic neuroma, the episode highlights the impact this condition can have on a person’s life and how a multidisciplinary approach is key to restoring function and quality of life. visiõnclínic, the ophthalmology clinic of barnaclínic+ and Clínicas Mi, has introduced two new services focused on the control and care of visual health: the Visual Health Pack, with a complete ophthalmological examination, and the Visual Acuity Pack, an eye exam focused on the assessment of visual acuity and prescription check. These new services make it possible to undergo a professional eye examination tailored to each patient’s needs, from a basic vision assessment to a complete ophthalmological check-up with advanced diagnostic technology.
The aim of this initiative is to facilitate access to regular eye exams, essential for the early detection of visual alterations or eye diseases that in many cases do not produce symptoms in their initial stages.
