Clínic Barcelona among the best hospitals in the world in 2024
For five years, Newsweek magazine, in collaboration with Statista, has carried out a ranking to classify the best hospitals in the world, known as World’s Best Hospitals, with the aim of offering a tool to patients and families to choose the most appropriate centre for your attention. The hospital Clínic Barcelona has once again managed to be in this ranking, which includes the 250 best hospital centres in the world in 2024, improving the classification achieved last year by three positions. Thus, the centre has been able to climb from position number 63 to 59. It is also one of the best hospitals in Spain, behind only the La Paz University Hospital and the 12 de Octubre University Hospital.

The Clínic Barcelona is the second-best public hospital in Spain for another year
As in the previous edition of the Health Reputation Monitor (MRS), a ranking that Merco has been preparing for nine years, the Clínic Barcelona has managed to be the second-best public hospital in Spain. In addition to a general classification, the MRS also presents a classification of 34 specialties, expanding seven more with respect to 2022. The Clínic has headed five of them: Digestive System, General and Digestive System Surgery, Hematology, Nephrology and Radiodiagnosis.

For the fifth time, Newsweek magazine, in collaboration with Statista, has compiled its ranking of the world’s best hospitals, the World’s Best Hospitals 2023. And for yet another year, the Clínic de Barcelona has been among the best in Spain and the world.

The Clínic once again ranks in the top 3 of the public hospitals with the best reputation in Spain
As is customary at this time, the results of the Health Reputation Monitor (MRS) have already been published, a ranking that Merco has been preparing for eight years. And for yet another year, the Clínic Barcelona has been one of the most outstanding centres, managing to position itself once again as the second-best public hospital in Spain and the first in Catalonia. It is the eighth consecutive year that the Clínic has achieved second place in the ranking. The best public hospital in Spain has once again been the Hospital Universitario La Paz in Madrid and the top three are completed by the Hospital General Universitario Gregorio Marañón.

Hospital Clínic, one more year among the best hospitals in the world in the World’s Best Hospitals
For another year, Newsweek magazine, in collaboration with Statista, has produced its ranking of the best hospitals in the world, the World’s Best Hospitals, thus being the fourth time that this classification has been awarded. And for yet another year, the Hospital Clínic has been among the best hospitals in the world and in Spain. On this occasion the centre has occupied the second position of the Spanish top 3, only behind the Hospital Universitario La Paz, while the Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre completed the podium in third position. Hospital Clínic chosen as second-best hospital in Spain for the sixth consecutive year
Hospital Clínic de Barcelona is the second best Spanish hospital according to the 2019 Health Reputation Monitor (Monitor de Reputación Sanitaria, MRS). The first place was won by the Hospital Universitario La Paz, while Gregorio Maranon Hospital closes the Top3. The Clinic was also chosen as the best hospital in Spain in the following medical specialties: Gastroenterology, General and Gastrointestinal surgery, Hematology, Nephrology and Pulmonology.
