On 27 November 2025, barnaclínic+ celebrated its 25th anniversary with an institutional event that brought together patients, professionals and staff in a meaningful and close-knit format. The Aula Magna of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Barcelona became a space of memory and recognition, where each voice helped to reflect on what this quarter-century journey has meant.

barnaclínic+ has recently published its 2024 Annual Report, a document that summarises the activity, indicators and initiatives that marked a key year in the institution’s strategic development. Clínic Barcelona among the best hospitals in the world in 2024
For five years, Newsweek magazine, in collaboration with Statista, has carried out a ranking to classify the best hospitals in the world, known as World’s Best Hospitals, with the aim of offering a tool to patients and families to choose the most appropriate centre for your attention. The hospital Clínic Barcelona has once again managed to be in this ranking, which includes the 250 best hospital centres in the world in 2024, improving the classification achieved last year by three positions. Thus, the centre has been able to climb from position number 63 to 59. It is also one of the best hospitals in Spain, behind only the La Paz University Hospital and the 12 de Octubre University Hospital.

The Clínic Barcelona is the second-best public hospital in Spain for another year
As in the previous edition of the Health Reputation Monitor (MRS), a ranking that Merco has been preparing for nine years, the Clínic Barcelona has managed to be the second-best public hospital in Spain. In addition to a general classification, the MRS also presents a classification of 34 specialties, expanding seven more with respect to 2022. The Clínic has headed five of them: Digestive System, General and Digestive System Surgery, Hematology, Nephrology and Radiodiagnosis.
