As usual, the Barcelona Clínic Group has stood out as one of the best hospitals in the world and our country, and has achieved outstanding positions in nine of the eleven categories that were analysed this year. The best-positioned department was Urology, led by Dr Antonio Alcaraz, who was also a novelty in this edition’s ranking. In this way, the Clinical Institute of Nephrology and Urology (ICNU) has achieved the 14th position in the ranking, also being the second-best service in Spain, only behind the La Paz University Hospital in Madrid.
