ROBOTIC SURGERY (MULTIRTS AND URTS)

VIDEOTHORACOSCOPIC SURGERY (VTS)
At barnaclínic+, video thoracoscopic surgery (VTS), used in more than 85% of lung resections to treat lung cancer, is distinguished by its minimally invasive approach. Through small incisions, both malignant and benign lung tumours can be removed. However, VATS has some limitations compared to robotic surgery, such as the lack of articulation of the instruments and two-dimensional vision.
