Is barnaclínic+ back to business?
All barnaclínic+ services have reopened and will gradually resume their normal activities.
External Consultations and the Clinic of Dentistry and Dental Health have resumed their activities On May 11. Our Hospitalization Rooms reopened on May 13, and scheduled surgeries have started again. Finally, the visits and surgeries of the ophthalmology service resumed on May 20.
Have the opening times changed?
We have maintained the usual schedule for all services:
- External Consultations: From 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- Dentistry and Dental Health: From 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (only morning on Fridays).
How can I contact you?
You can contact our Patient Care Service as per usual:
Given the current situation, we recommend contacting us via phone. Phone calls allow us to carry out a screening to rule out possible COVID-19 cases. They also give us a chance to explain our safety and prevention recommendations.
How are appointments and visits managed?
Our appointments and visits have been adapted to the current protocols on matters of hygiene and safety. In other words, we now allocate fewer patients and more time for visits to avoid crowds in the waiting rooms.
Which measures were taken to offer all services while respecting safety standards and maximizing prevention?
An Expert Committee made up of professionals from Preventive Medicine, Occupational Risk Prevention, and other services involved in the Hospital Clinic Group has reviewed the protective measures that must be applied to minimize the risk of infection. These measures must be applied by both professionals and patients. We have established hygiene and disinfection measures for our facilities and have integrated this with protocols that ensure its application. Over the past few weeks staff was trained to apply all hygiene and safety measures indicated, and we have worked hard to guarantee that our patients can be protected: hydro-alcoholic solutions have been purchased and installed, limited capacity is guaranteed, shared use objects have been removed, etc. We want to highlight the importance of hand hygiene, of mask use and of social distancing (1.5 – 2m). Finally, we have adapted our areas. Seats that cannot be used have been marked in all waiting rooms and informative brochures with hygiene and safety recommendations are available for the public in visible places.
How have barnaclínic+ hospital rooms been prepared?
Before resuming activity, a special team has thoroughly cleaned and disinfected all hospital rooms. They were then locked and isolated from people for 72 hours, then cleaned and disinfected again, room by room. These cleaning and disinfection measures will be maintained according to security protocols until further notice.
What measures do I have to take if I need to come for a visit or to have a test, or if I have to go inside a hospital room?
You will undergo a screening before being admitted into our hospital rooms, to rule out the presence of COVID-19 symptoms. This way, we can protect both patients and professionals.
