· Complex pancreatic surgery with vascular resections
· Minimally invasive robotic and laparoscopic surgery
· Cystic pancreatic tumors (IPMN)
· Artificial intelligence applied to pancreatic disease
RESEARCH
· More than 60 international publications indexed in PubMed, 38 in first-quartile journals, with a cumulative impact factor of over 280. These include the international PELICAN clinical trial on radiofrequency ablation for locally advanced pancreatic cancer (2026).
· Supervisor of 2 doctoral theses, both awarded the highest distinction, cum laude.
· Researcher at IDIBAPS.
· Co-director of the 1st Barcelona PDAC Meeting and the Pancreatic Cancer Update Course.
· Principal investigator of the PANCREATIA project (ISCIII).
