· Master's Degree in Sports Medicine.

· Specialized training in Pain Medicine and Interventional Pain Therapy.

EXPERIENCE

More than 11 years of experience in Pain Medicine and Sports Medicine, performing more than 1,300 interventional procedures a year.

Specialization

· Pain medicine in athletes: musculoskeletal and spinal pain, and interventional pain therapy.

· Pain associated with sports injuries: treatment of pain and injuries in professional and elite athletes.

· Musculoskeletal ultrasound: ultrasound-guided interventions.

· Therapeutic exercise and return to sport: strength and progressive loading programmes adapted to the injury, the sport and the point in the season.

RESEARCH

Elite sport

· Team physician at La Masia, FC Barcelona (for 5 years).

· Member of the medical team of the Spanish Olympic Team at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

· Training placement at the Sant Cugat High Performance Centre.

Teaching

· University lecturer in Perioperative Medicine at the University of Lleida (before 2022).

· Clinical innovation project in digital health applied to chronic pain and adherence to therapeutic exercise.
