Tambi\u00e9n recomendamos <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.barnaclinic.com\/blog\/womens-health\/consejos-prevenir-osteoporosis\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">c\u00f3mo prevenir sus s\u00edntomas<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>y<a href=\"http:\/\/www.barnaclinic.com\/blog\/womens-health\/deporte-menopausia-osteoporosis\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> <strong>qu\u00e9 deportes pueden ser recomendables<\/strong><\/a>. Adem\u00e1s de tener en cuenta estos factores de riesgo, al llegar a una cierta edad y bajo criterio m\u00e9dico, se aconseja realizar una <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Densitometr%C3%ADa_%C3%B3sea\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>densitometr\u00eda \u00f3sea<\/strong><\/a>. Esta prueba mide la masa del hueso y permite determinar el <strong>riesgo de fractura<\/strong> actual y futuro.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>La <strong>velocidad media de p\u00e9rdida \u00f3sea<\/strong> inmediatamente despu\u00e9s de la <strong>menopausia<\/strong> (entre los 3-5 primeros a\u00f1os) es aproximadamente de 2-3% al a\u00f1o. En \u00e9pocas posteriores, la velocidad de p\u00e9rdida disminuye (0,5-1% al a\u00f1o).<\/p>\n<p>A las mujeres con importante <strong>riesgo de fractura<\/strong> se les aconsejar\u00e1 una serie de consejos o normas b\u00e1sicas.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Consejos para prevenir fracturas \u00f3seas<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Evitar movimientos bruscos<\/li>\n<li>Realizar el movimiento correcto para agacharse<\/li>\n<li>Levantarse de la cama limitando los riesgos<\/li>\n<li>Sentarse correctamente<\/li>\n<li>Tomar medidas para evitar ca\u00eddas (bast\u00f3n, gafas bien graduadas, retirar definitivamente las alfombras de la casa\u2026)<\/li>\n<li>Tender la ropa\u00a0sin forzar la posici\u00f3n. Si es necesario utilizar una escalera o un banco.<\/li>\n<li>Empujar, no arrastrar el carro de la compra o las maletas con ruedas<\/li>\n<li>Subir y bajar peso limitando el esfuerzo<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Higiene postural ante el riesgo de fractura<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Durante la \u00e9poca de la <strong>menopausia<\/strong> con un mayor <strong>riesgo de fractura por osteoporosis<\/strong>, mantener una <strong>correcta actitud postural<\/strong> en las actividades cotidianas puede resultar de gran ayuda.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sentarse en una silla recta con los pies apoyados en el suelo, con la espalda y el cuello rectos.<\/li>\n<li>Para levantar objetos del suelo, flexionar las rodillas y caderas.<\/li>\n<li>Para bajar objetos se debe utilizar un banco o una escalera y tomar el objeto con las manos a la altura del pecho, nunca por encima de la cabeza.<\/li>\n<li>Para transportar pesos, como bolsas de la compra o maletas, se deben distribuir por igual entre las dos manos.<\/li>\n<li>Dormir con una almohada baja.<strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote>\n<h4><strong><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.barnaclinic.com\/profesionales\/310\/magda\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-10\" title=\"Magda Duran\" src=\"http:\/\/www.barnaclinic.com\/blog\/womens-health\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/Mduran.png\" alt=\"Doctora Magda Duran\" width=\"90\" height=\"90\" \/><\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/h4>\n<h4><strong><em>\u00a0\u201c<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>La mayor\u00eda de las mujeres que realizan ejercicio f\u00edsico disminuyen a la mitad sus sofocos y es una manera f\u00e1cil y agradable de retrasar el proceso del envejecimiento\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.barnaclinic.com\/profesionales\/310\/magda\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dra.
