And as on previous occasions, barnacl\u00ednic+ wanted to join in, recognising the important role that these professionals play in healthcare. As usual, <strong>barnacl\u00ednic+ has financed the institutional event and has provided grants for different nursing research and intensification projects at the Cl\u00ednic<\/strong>, presented during the celebration. The day took place in the Auditorium of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and could also be followed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=XqzRPiX3Rp4\">online through the Cl\u00ednic\u2019s YouTube channel, May 14<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>And just like on previous occasions, barnacl\u00ednic+ wanted to join in, recognising the important role that these professionals play in healthcare. As usual, <strong>barnacl\u00ednic+ has financed the institutional event and has provided grants for different nursing research and intensification projects at the Cl\u00ednic<\/strong>, presented during the celebration. The day took place in the Auditorium of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and could also be followed.<\/p>\n<div id=\"estoy-interesado\" class=\"destacat-site\">\n<blockquote>\n<h4>IN MAY INTEREST YOU\u2026<\/h4>\n<p><strong>\u00b7\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.barnaclinic.com\/blog\/en\/blog\/research-work-nursing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">barnacl\u00ednic+ continues to support the research work of nursing professionals of the Hospital Cl\u00ednic<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00b7\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.barnaclinic.com\/blog\/en\/blog\/barnaclinic-promote-training-and-research-in-nursing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">barnacl\u00ednic+ continues to promote training and research in Nursing at the Hospital Cl\u00ednic<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00b7 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.barnaclinic.com\/blog\/en\/blog\/nursing-sabatics-scholarships\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">barnacl\u00ednic+ enhances the training of the Cl\u00ednic\u2019s nursing professionals with the Sab\u00e0tics scholarships<\/a><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<h2>BARNACL\u00cdNIC+ SAB\u00c0TICS SCHOLARSHIPS AND INTENSIFICATIONS<\/h2>\n<p>During the event, as is also usual, the projects awarded scholarships by the Sab\u00e0tics barnacl\u00ednic+, Premios Talentos La Pedrera and Intensificaci\u00f3ns Cl\u00ednic were presented. This is an initiative of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.clinicbarcelona.org\/en\/organizational-structure\/nursing-management\"><strong>Nursing Directorate of the Hospital Cl\u00ednic of Barcelona<\/strong><\/a>, \u200b\u200bwhich aims to improve the care activity of the centre through the training of professionals and the <strong>promotion of nursing research<\/strong>, which was launched in 2016. Dr <strong>Adela Zabalegui<\/strong>, deputy director of Research and Teaching of the Nursing Directorate, was in charge of moderating the presentation of the scholarship projects.<\/p>\n<p>On this occasion, six <strong>projects were awarded a Sab\u00e0tic barnacl\u00ednic+ scholarship<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Raquel Garc\u00eda Mu\u00f1oz<\/strong>, advanced practice nurse at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.clinicbarcelona.org\/instituto\/instituto-clinic-de-enfermedades-digestivas-y-metabolicas\">Cl\u00ednic\u2019s Institute of Digestive and Metabolic Diseases (CIDMD)<\/a>, for the project \u201cRole of the advanced practice nurse in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=0Lc3sxBCZhY\">liver transplantation<\/a>, experience in the United States\u201d.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Emma Goma Freixes<\/strong>, nurse at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.clinicbarcelona.org\/instituto\/instituto-clinic-de-nefrologia-y-urologia\">Cl\u00ednic\u2019s Institute of Nephrology and Urology (CINU)<\/a>, for the project \u201cExpand knowledge in the management of kidney patients\u201d.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Josep Mirando Salmer\u00f3n<\/strong>, attached to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.clinicbarcelona.org\/estructura-organizativa\/direccion-enfermeria\">Nursing Directorate<\/a>, for the project \u201cAnalyse the new models of the Nursing Directorate, examine its responsibility, visibility and the consolidation of digital technological tools in the management of nurses\u201d.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Isabel Agasi Mart\u00ednez<\/strong>, nurse at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.clinicbarcelona.org\/instituto\/instituto-clinic-de-neurociencias\">Cl\u00ednic\u2019s Institute of Neurosciences (CIN)<\/a>, for the project \u201cContribute to the implementation of the TMF group in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.barnaclinic.com\/es\/trastornos-psiquiatricos-y-psicologicos-del-adulto\/\">psychiatry and psychology<\/a> service of the Hospital Cl\u00ednic of Barcelona\u201d.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Anna Ballesteros Urp\u00ed<\/strong>, social educator, for the project \u201cThe QualityRights initiative and its applicability in personal recovery in mental health in the context of the Children and Adolescents Day Hospital of the Psychiatry and Psychology Service of the Hospital Cl\u00ednic Barcelona\u201d.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Elisabeth Ripoll Romero<\/strong>, nurse at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.clinicbarcelona.org\/instituto\/instituto-clinic-de-especialidades-medicas-y-quirurgicas\">Cl\u00ednic\u2019s Institute of Medical and Surgical Specialties (CIMSS)<\/a>, for the project \u201cRole of the nurse in the optimised recovery program for hip arthroplasty to reduce post-surgical anxiety\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For her part, <strong>Mireia Pascual Tutusaus<\/strong>, an advanced practice nurse at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.clinicbarcelona.org\/instituto\/instituto-clinic-de-ginecologia-obstetricia-y-neonatologia\">Cl\u00ednic\u2019s Institude of Gynaecology, Obstetrics and Neonatology (CIGON)<\/a>, received a La Pedrera Talents Award while <strong>Ana C\u00e1mara Lorenzo<\/strong> and <strong>Guadalupe Fern\u00e1ndez Villullas<\/strong>, both advanced practice nurses at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.clinicbarcelona.org\/instituto\/instituto-clinic-de-neurociencias\">CIN<\/a>, and Georgina Feixas Orellana, advanced practice nurse at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.clinicbarcelona.org\/instituto\/instituto-clinic-de-ginecologia-obstetricia-y-neonatologia\">CIGON<\/a>, were chosen for the <strong>Intensificaci\u00f3n Cl\u00ednic Awards<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>AWARDS FOR THE BEST NURSING CONTROLS<\/h2>\n<p>Finally, awards have also been given to the best nursing controls implementing 5S, a process of Japanese origin that ensures that work areas are systematically clean, orderly and organised with the motto \u201ca place for everything and everything in its place&#8221;. The winners were, with first prize the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.clinicbarcelona.org\/servicio\/neonatologia\">Neonatology Unit<\/a>, with second prize <a href=\"https:\/\/www.clinicbarcelona.org\/servicio\/psiquiatria-y-psicologia\">Adult Psychiatry<\/a>, and with third prize the nursing control of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.clinicbarcelona.org\/servicio\/neumologia-y-alergia-respiratoria\/asistencia\">Intensive Care Unit (ICU)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gemma Mart\u00ednez<\/strong>, attached to the Directorate of Strategy and Planning for the Healthcare Field, was in charge of carrying out the closing of the event, thanking all the professionals of the Nursing Directorate for their daily work.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, to celebrate this day with patients and users, among other gestures, a card was distributed on food trays on Sunday, May 12, encouraging people to thank the professionals for their efforts and commitment. Finally, like every year, a small gift has been distributed to the professionals.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>EXHIBITION \u201cTHE #CLINIC NURSING, AN ESSENTIAL GROUP\u201d<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Through the images we wanted to show the daily work of the Cl\u00ednic nurses, valuing the work of the group, their commitment and effort. It is a compilation of images by Francisco Avia, the hospital\u2019s photographer, that shows the day-to-day life of this vocational profession, focused on treating patients, but also on teaching, research and nursing management.
