Once again Newsweek<\/a> magazine has made their ranking of the best hospitals in the world by speciality<\/strong>, the \u2018World\u2019s Best Specialised Hospitals\u2019<\/strong><\/a> and the Hospital Cl\u00ednic Group Barcelona<\/a> has played an important role in it. The ranking from this year 2022 has for the first time widened the number of specialities analysed from seven to ten, and the Hospital Cl\u00ednic Group has managed to have some of their services in up to seven of these categories.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The Cardiovascular Clinical Institute (CCI)<\/a>, directed by Dr. Marta Sitges<\/a>, placed number 33 in Cardiology<\/a>, improving on their result from last year. It placed number 55 in the category of Gastroenterology<\/a> and number 58 in Endocrinology<\/a> and nutrition<\/a>. The Neuroscience Clinical Institute (NCI)<\/a> also stood out, directed by Dr. Josefina Castro<\/strong>, and placed number 74 in Neurology<\/a>. And finally, the Hematology and Oncology Disease Clinical Institute (HODCI)<\/a>, led by Dr. \u00c1lvaro Urbano<\/a>, placed number 101 in the ranking for Medical and Hematological Oncology<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A RANKING WHICH RECOGNISES THE BEST HOSPITALS IN THE WORLD PER SPECIALITY<\/strong><\/h2>\n

This ranking presents the best hospital services in the world<\/strong> born out of the collaboration between Newsweek<\/a> magazine and the statistics website Statista Inc<\/a>. In order to make it more than 40,000 medical experts were invited -among them doctors, hospital directors and health professionals- to participate in online surveys in which they could recommend and evaluate various hospitals in their individual fields. The results of this survey were posteriorly validated by a global board of renowned medical experts. Currently the ranking includes the 250 best hospitals in the world in <\/strong>Cardiology<\/strong><\/a> and <\/strong>Oncology<\/strong><\/a>, the 150 best in <\/strong>Heart Surgery<\/strong><\/a> and Pediatrics and the 125 best in <\/strong>Endocrinology<\/strong><\/a>, <\/strong>Gastroenterology<\/strong><\/a>, <\/strong>Ortopedia<\/strong><\/a>, <\/strong>Neurology<\/strong><\/a>, <\/strong>Neurosurgery<\/strong><\/a> and <\/strong>Neumology<\/strong><\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

THE BEST HOSPITAL IN SPAIN AND ONE OF THE BEST IN THE WORLD<\/strong><\/h2>\n

As well as this ranking per speciality, Newsweek magazine also published the \u2018World\u2019s Best Hospitals 2021<\/strong>\u2019<\/a>, a list with the best hospitals in the world<\/a><\/strong>. Just like last year, Hospital Cl\u00ednic was chosen as the best hospital in Spain<\/a><\/strong> and managed to place 38 in the world ranking. In this list 2,000 hospitals were evaluated from 24 different countries. This is the third year that this classification has been made, in which the best hospitals in the world <\/strong>are recognised and comes about due to online surveys as well.<\/p>\n
