Our\u00a0<strong>Hospitalization Rooms\u00a0<\/strong>reopened on May 13, and scheduled surgeries have started again. They also give us a chance to explain our safety and prevention recommendations.<\/p>\n<hr id=\"visitas\" \/>\n<h4><strong>How are appointments and visits managed?<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><strong>Our appointments and visits have been adapted to the current protocols\u00a0<\/strong>on matters of hygiene and safety. In other words, we now allocate fewer patients and more time for visits to avoid crowds in the waiting rooms.<\/p>\n<hr id=\"seguridad\" \/>\n<h4><strong>Which measures were taken to offer all services while respecting safety standards and maximizing prevention?<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>An Expert Committee made up of professionals from\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.clinicbarcelona.org\/en\/service\/medicina-preventiva-y-epidemiologia\">Preventive Medicine<\/a>, Occupational Risk Prevention, and other services involved in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.clinicbarcelona.org\/\">Hospital Clinic Group<\/a>\u00a0has reviewed the\u00a0<strong>protective measures that must be applied to minimize the risk of infection<\/strong>. These measures must be applied by both professionals and patients.\u00a0<strong>We have established hygiene and disinfection measures for our facilities and have integrated this with protocols that ensure its application<\/strong>. Over the past few weeks staff was trained to apply all hygiene and safety measures indicated, and\u00a0<strong>we have worked hard to guarantee that our patients can be protected<\/strong>: hydro-alcoholic solutions have been purchased and installed, limited capacity is guaranteed, shared use objects have been removed, etc.\u00a0<strong>We want to highlight the importance of hand hygiene, of mask use and of social distancing\u00a0<\/strong>(1.5 &#8211; 2m). Finally, we have adapted our areas. Seats that cannot be used have been marked in all waiting rooms and informative brochures with hygiene and safety recommendations are available for the public in visible places.<\/p>\n<hr id=\"sala\" \/>\n<h4><strong>How have barnacl\u00ednic+ hospital rooms been prepared?<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Before resuming activity,\u00a0<strong>a special team has thoroughly cleaned and disinfected all hospital rooms<\/strong>. They were then locked and isolated from people for 72 hours, then cleaned and disinfected again, room by room.
